Mardi Burnham

There is a lot of talk these days about connection, but I’d have to say that my intuition has always instinctively found the similarities existing between things more often than it finds the differences.  To make sense of these synchronistic moments, I trust my imagination and trust the symbolism I recognize at the very root of it all. The rest just spirals out from there. I once read a statement by the Artist Louise Bourgeois which sent a clear message: “If my work does not move you, then I have failed”.  In my case, if the implied message does not move or frighten you to action or inspire you to consider the interconnectedness of all things, then I too have failed.
